Leading GRP Mouldings for Industrial Applications Worldwide
We have become renown for the design, and manufacture of quality specialised Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) mouldings for use in many industrial applications – ideally suited for the Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecommunications Industries.
The very extensive and comprehensive range of Envico products have been supplied to many sites throughout the United Kingdom and to customers in mainland Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Glass Reinforced Polymer
Combining excellent mechanical properties with corrosion and chemical resistance, glass reinforced polymer is the ideal material with which to manufacture tough, lightweight structures, which have both strength and durability and relatively maintenance free whether for inside or outdoor use.
The materials and methods employed by Envico are extremely cost effective and economic when compared with other systems employing steel, brickwork, concrete blocks or stone etc.
Employing a highly skilled management team and workforce and utilising modern plant and equipment, Envico Engineering can develop and produce quality specialist mouldings from a basic hand lay-up lamination through to sandwich constructions to include Plywood and/or Polyurethane foams for added strength, and Thermal and Acoustic insulation.
Design to Production and Expanding Facilities
Envico can provide a total service from Design, produced on a sophisticated CAD/CAM software system, to Pattern and Mould making through to Production, be it for relatively short runs, special requirements or continuous production runs. Part of Envico’s policy is to continue to develop new products in anticipation of the customers increasingly sophisticated and demanding needs.
All Envico Engingeering specialised mouldings are subject to quality assurance proceedures to ensure consistent supply to the highest standards. As a result of Envico’s continued success since 1975, and growing customer demand for specialised products, the company has purchased its second factory in Port Talbot, some ten miles from its headquarters in Swansea.
This new factory has some 12,000 square feet of new, state of the art, manufacturing space where management has established a specialised moulding division for new products and has decided to concentrate its production of recent diversifications into new enclosure finishes and imitation effects such as brick, stone, slate, wood and pebble dash.
