Combining excellent mechanical properties with corrosion and chemical resistance, glass reinforced polymer is the ideal material with which to manufacture tough, lightweight structures, which have strength, durability and few maintenance costs, whether for inside or outdoor use. These materials and the methods employed by Envico during manufacturing are extremely cost effective and economic when compared with other systems employing steel, brickwork, concrete blocks or stone etc.
All Envico’s products use Class 2 fire retardant resin, tested to BS476 Part 7, meaning the spread of flame across our products is very low. This makes our housings an excellent choice for protecting electrical equipment.
Employing a highly skilled management team, workforce and utilising modern plant and equipment, Envico Engineering can develop and produce quality specialist mouldings from a basic hand lay-up lamination through to sandwich constructions to include Plywood and/or Polyurethane foams for added strength, and Thermal and Acoustic insulation.
Envico use a combination of materials to add structural strength and rigidity to our products such as timber battens for our smaller cabinets and steel for our larger housings.
Envico can provide a total service from Design, produced on a sophisticated CAD software system, to Pattern and Mould making through to Production, be it for relatively short runs, special requirements or continuous production runs. Part of Envico’s policy is to continue to develop new products in anticipation of the customers increasingly sophisticated and demanding needs.
All Envico Engineering specialised mouldings are subject to quality assurance procedures to ensure consistent supply to the highest standards.
