GRP Transformer Housings and GRP Substation Enclosures

The Envico Engineering range of GRP transformer housings and GRP Substation enclosures have been specifically designed to be a robust, but lightweight design. The transformer housing range incorporates several options for high- and low-level ventilation to disperse the heat emitted from the equipment inside.

Many of Envico’s products in the transformer housing range have been developed to UK DNO and IDNO requirements for ventilation and explosion relief. To protect your equipment from fire, all products are manufactured using Class 2 fire retardant resin to BS476 Part 7, slowing the surface spread of flame.

The large GRP double doors at the front give easy access and are fitted with a two-point lock system, suitable for a padlock. The GRP housings and enclosures have been independently tested by the Building Research Establishment to ensure it meets the required criteria.
